We here at Realism HQ have decided to kick it up a notch and have a contest to make the greatest, most awe-inspiring piece of wicked-sick art mankind has ever seen!! Or maybe just a few new promotional graphics for the DoD Realism Event. You have until the end of April to come up with a captivating promotional graphic for both the eGO Realism Night and Euro-realism Night.​





I’m sure all of you have seen this fine example of artistic prowess:

Notice the attention to detail in this masterpiece. The helmets are seeping with raw hatred and seem to levitate off of a shiny white floor that screams: “this place will be drenched in the blood of my enemies-- oh man I got shot in the face now I have to wait to respawn!!!”





If you would like to enter this contest then the rules are simple:​

- You must make 2 pictures for this contest. One for our regular Realism Night and one for our Euro-Realism Night
- Post all submissions in this thread. All those not submitting feel free to comment on the entries.
- Any submissions will be used to promote the Realism event.
- Any member of eGO™ is welcome to enter the contest, and members can submit numerous entries.
- The contest will run until the end of April.
- The Realism Night COs and XOs will judge the entries (but community criticism will be considered).
- All entries must have either the eGO™ text or logo somewhere on the picture. European related material (maps, attractions, etc) should be integrated for the Euro-realism submission. Feel free to sign your artwork.


Oh we almost forgot the best part of this contest-- the prizes!!!

A customized mug, jumbo mug, or stein from the eGO™ Cafpress Store

$100,000 Casino Cash

All runners up will receive a special surprise for your submissions. (yeah you guys from our Realisms might know what it is). If there are not at least 10 entries by the 30th of April, the contest will either be extended or terminated with alternate prizes of Halflife Episode 1 & 2, $50,000 Casino Cash, and $25,000 Casino Cash for the first through third place winners respectively.

I likes it i likes it alot.

But just to let everyone know we are looking for more variety in the Euro-realism submission maybe toss in something European like umm a bagette or windmill (think of something :P).
 
I laugh in the face of danger and at stormy lol
but anyway I think that I will have a submission for this but no laughing :-)
 
Can we make like, a realism map instead? Something historically situated like dod_strand but more compatible with our realism mod? Not even for the contest, but just for fun's sake? I've been dying to try my hand at Hammer these past few weeks. :D

Youve seen my sick MS Paint skills so ill be laughing with you. Heck you even inspired me to make a submission too (dont worry fellow contestatnts theres no way in heck ill win :P).

You have in the opening information the end of April, but in the information you have the end of March... Which date is it?

If you have the time and skills to make a map for Realism ill do everything i can to get it onto the event server... that is if its playable!
 
Can this be made a sticky so as to not loose it in the shuffle please?
