Hello everyone,

Well my Klipsch ultra 5.1's amp went out again, and I really don't feel like getting it all fixed again right now... so I've moved on to something else, just to get some of your opinions.

First question: I don't have optical or any other digital connection on my built in audio, so for right now I'm restricted to analog 5.1 to my receiver. Is this going to make any noticeable audio differences between analog/digital?
The next upgrade I have planned the motherboards' audio card has an optical connection so I might switch to that then if it's a better option.

Specs:

Receiver: Pioneer VSX-816 (already had the receiver, wasn't using it, so it's the best option for me)

Fronts: Polk Monitor 40's
Rear: Polk Monitor 30's

center: for NOW, I'm using the Klipsch center speaker till I save up more for a new one.

I haven't made my mind up about the sub tho yet... should I stick with Polk and get their 10" or should I get something else? I noticed the egg has 10" Klipsch on sale too.

I mainly use my computer for games... but I've heard going this route makes music sound really awesome, so I'll prolly listen to more music once I experience that.
