So. I've spread some stuff in a forum or two, and realised I may have better luck regarding a solution if everything was centered in the right place. This is that place. Sooooo...Here we go.
1. After installing the Burning Crusade for WoW, it changed my WoW folder location. I'm fine with that. It's cleaner, less confusing, whatever. Somehow, my WTF, Interface, etc. folders have dissapeared. When I search these folders, nothing shows up. But I can still play WoW. When I search WoW, the little icon comes up, and when I click it, the game launches as normal. In my World of Warcraft Folder, there are only links to billing. help, etc. Nothing that could let me access Add-Ons, for instance.
2. Steam deleted itself. I don't know how, and I don't know why. It just did. As a solution, I reinstalled it. No biggy. But I would still like to know where it went?
3. Steam is messed up. Just like WoW missing those vital folders, in my steamapps folder, there is no account name. Just some files that I don't want to comprehend and a SourceMod folder, which is empty. Without my account folder, I can't access any game folders, which means no cfg=no admin. When I search games, like Counterstrike:Source, it just gives me a shortcut, like WoW.
Anyone who can solve one problem gets one DIGITAL cookie.
Anyone who can solve two problems gets one DIGITAL horse.
Anyone who can solve ALL THREE has too much free time, and will be awarded with a DIGITAL cookie, DIGITAL horse, and Idol.
