What assault kit rifle to use next?

I've obtained my first platinum star on the XM8 Prototype not too long ago. And I am wondering which of the more popular rifles I should use next - HK 416 (M416), AN-94 or M16A2. What are your thoughts?

It would seem that the M416 is superior to the XM8 in terms of power. But damage charts say they do the exact same, except the only pro M416 has is that it has slightly less visual recoil. Hopefully they'll fix the M416?

So, M416 or AN-94 or M16A2? Why?

i usally use the AN-94 just because its very similar to the AKS in the engineer class which i like to use alot. But in iv heard alot of good things about the m16 also

I love the AN 94, I use it on Campaign due to it's bursts, you can burst fire it almost like an automatic, but it's amazing for "sniping" if needed basically. Im working on my assault classes to slowly get it. But since I suck pretty hard at assault, it will be a long time coming.

Point: An-94 all the way, you will not regret it. Try it out for a bit, if you dislike it, don't do it. But it is one of the few very very rewarding guns imho.

acog is the 4x scope

also i say get the m16a4 + acog scope, its really nice

I use the M4 and M16 evenly, depends on the map.

i use the AN and the M416 quite a bit (nearing 100k points in assault class). Honestly, they are a flavor preference really... the AN is for people who enjoy the AKS in engineering or the AK from COD4 and the M4 is for people who prefer a more sniper-ish approach since the acog (4x sope) is amazing on that. They are both VERY good guns and I myself prefer the AN over the M4 but I use both quite a lot when playing assault.
