Multi sound outputs and recording speaker outputs

Ok, Here is the right place to post.

Hello reader

I have two questions here:

1) How do I enable both of my sound outputs to work simultaneously?
I have two outputs, front and back, and want them to both work at the same time.
It worked like a charm in WinXP, but in Win7 its giving me a had time.
I have googled it and looked into it, apparently MS did not do this intentionally, its was just a side effect. Never the less, anyone knows of a solution?

2) How can I record my speaker outputs?
As in, record what my speakers are outputting. This also worked in WinXP, (as far as I remember). But in Win7 MS decided to close that feature due to some company (forgot its name) pressuring for "copyrights" as in, doesn't want people to copyright songs and stuff that way.
But, this does still work! just not as easily. Ex. fraps records what the speakers output along with the mic. I have tried it and it work, so I know it works. Now I need a software or a method so I can use this without needing to use only fraps for it to work.

Unfortunately at this time the only way I've found to efficiently run two different audio sources at the same time without one being all dragged down is to have an on-board and off-board source.

For instance, I have a HD PCI-Express Audio card that I use for movies and for everything else I use the internal one on my MB.

Other members might have ideas, too.


There are plenty of software available for you to use that does this.

Thanks for replying, the software Adobe Auditions, edits a pre-recorded sound and then you can manipulated it from which speaker it comes out of.

But I guess what I'm asking is different, My desktop has a front and back jack plugs for audio, as in speakers and headset, I want both to work at the same time, instead of disconnecting one for the other to work.

That worked fine in XP, not so much in 7.

Any help? Any one?
