Welcome two new guys to leadership

Topics: Spawn camping, TK’s, League Recap, New Map – Sri Lanka

Spawncamping and TK’s
Has become an issue along with TK’s among members. On Dust, exit camping is ok. The only thing that is not allowed is shooting inside spawn. We do not warn, kick or ban for exit camping.
On BAR and BAS, exit camping is NOT ok. This is up to the admin discretion, but there are specifics for each map, there may be a class coming. If any E’s or eG’s have questions about this, please talk to an eGO.

We have been going through the bans lately and there is no consistency on TK bans. We need a standard. Minimum after a warn and kick is a 2 day ban (2880) Add 2 days if they come back after a kick and make more of a ruckus (swearing, abuse, etc.)
After the ban, make sure you go into the website and put a note in.

Any bans longer than 1 day must have a note in MAUL.

League Recap
We had tryouts, would like to see more people, had 16 total. Are making another team that Jesus will be in charge of. One vs One is open, but it will be closed this week if no one else joins. Medals will be given to winners and participants. Only one person signed up for shooting gallery.
Events are posted on the forums and on steam, everyone asked for events but we need more people to sign up.
BC2 – INS scrim is in the works, you must have Bad Company 2. Trying to get an idea of how many people are interested / available.

New Map – Sri Lanka
Cons: Map does crash the custom map server
Pros: Map is awesome
Gameplay seems balanced, map seems to have gone over pretty well.

Guns Mod
BAS already had guns removed. BAR mostly agree that it can sometimes cause game disruption. Mutual agreement that Guns should stay on Dust.

Dust Server
Need more eG and eGO admins to be on Dust. Remember to use vent and ICQ to ask any admin if you need help. Members should be in vent a lot more anyway!

I didn't know exit camping on Dust2 wasn't against the rules, I thought it was, so I asked many people to quit :P Also, Grats Jesus and Turk, not sure how long you've been on leadership, but grats xD
 
Gotta say, This is much more Interesting than the Meeting where all of the eGO players are supposed to hear what the eGO council or the founders are talking about!

EVERYTHING about Insurgency!! woot!

Props to the DLs and Advisors and all the guys that were on today for this meeting..

Also i might add that the Tryout was Exciting as well and i had quite the fun there :)

P.S: Love the part during the meeting where you guys talked about the Sexy Sig Jason made for me :P
I know you are jealous... :) Nothing can top the hot chick with the sniper rifle on bike guys... Nothing!!!

The general rule is simple, Dust has 3 different exits, there should be no reason why a marine would spawn and keep going out the same exit with someone sitting waiting for you...

Dust2-Server-Message

Question: Will the message "bla bla do not exit camp..." on Dust2-Server be removed ? (because it makes no sence if it is allowed)
