Hello all you Techs out there simple question. I want to update my ATI 5900 Series Video Card. I found the website got 3 different downloads, ill post the link to better clarify: http://game.amd.com/us-en/drivers_catalyst.aspx?p=win7/windows-7-64bit

I don't know too much about computers, but when I tried the one download thinking that it might be the driver updater...I caused a blue screen then crash. SO I know that wasnt the right link, lol... Any opinions?
 
5900 series? As in an HD5970?

The first one would be the one you want, 71.6MB's.

Make sure you have Windows 7 (or Vista) 64bit, since that's what the search showed up as.

Name ATI Radeon HD 5900 Series is what I got from my system information.

Completely normal. It means it's uninstalling the old drivers and installing the new drivers, the sound is from the device being disconnected (the video card) and then being reconnected.
 
Blue screen, computer crashed, restarted, then I lost my old Driver settings, leaving me high and dry with no driver installed.
