My mini Frag video

the frags are meh. but i was done playing utility lately and need to move on.
the sniper clips are all much better then the scout clips but what ever.
im gonna start collecting clips for a longer soldier video. (5 minute range hopefully):)

Anyways tell me what you think of this one.

Very good so far. Just work on the panning because a few times you went through walls and such, just perfect it to go through doors ;)

Great job overall.
 
I understand what your trying to do, but realize that you are up against a ton of professional players as well as editors that do these type of videos. This vid is ok compared to those vids and could be alot better with after effects added to it and ofcourse you need a lot more better clips. Id give it a 3/5, dont give up cant wait to see more ;).

Agreed. This video has its maker have good potential to go far :)

clips arent hard to get that just takes time so other then clips what exactly should i work on.
more smoothing yay or nay?

What are you recording with? Source recorder, or fraps?
 
fraps because i record whole matches and i have no idea how to make source recorder only record small parts. =/
 
I didn't really like it. =[ Maybe I've watched too many professionally made ones that the poor quality of the clips were a turn off for me. And the clipping in the beginning was kind of bad like people have said. xD
 
Keep it up man, you will only get better by pumping these things out like this.

you keep making them, and I'll keep watching them. :)
 
It was OK, although I feel you should've fixed the smoothing at the beginning or left it out. The other thing is, have a HUD IMO, sometimes its hard to tell whether you killed someone or someone else killed them and you just assisted. Even if its just one of the recording HUD's that makes it so only the kills appear, nothing else. If you'd like this one I believe I have a link somewhere I can send you, just shoot me a PM ;)

EDIT: Oh, other than that it was pretty good as far as editing goes :thumbup1:
But yeah, meh frags as you said, and I think some after effects such as frisky said would be appropriate and enhance the experience :)

EDIT2: Also, IMO, some of the zooming in you did during editing is a bit odd and makes it hard to follow the action at points

You're getting better. Also, low viewmodel FOV = braindamage for me.
 
actauly my view model is now 90 but before it was 70 and it also looks worse because i have to crop to get it full screen
yah the frags arent great but im capable of getting good frags over time. next time i wil wait longer before release
also i dont have adobe after effects.
is it hard to get or hard to use?
 
I thought it was pretty good for the most part. It was just a little bit laggy though.

AE is pretty expensive but you can find some good deals if you look around...

Anyway, it is also kind of difficult to get started with, but once you get going with it its pretty easy.
 
alright try to get the 5 finger discount.
anyone here real comfortable with AE may need some help at the start
