Hi, TF2 Division.

I'm not sure if I should post this here or the Tech Talk section..

Anyways,

I want to make my first TF2 video, but I'd like to know any tips or anything like that?

May anyone also recommend any specific programs? Any technical style, not just one's for new people.

Based on that, the specific video I want to make is to be done with gameplay footage from our servers and a lot of different awesome frags.

Well..

Thank you very much for reading this,
Ric.

Lol! Both of us are doing exactly the same thing!

I recommend fraps to record your videos. Ive always used it and always will!

I also use sony vegas for editing.

I use Fraps and Vegas aswell, excellent combination, and yeah, buy Fraps lol.

I'm not anywhere near experienced but I have some videos out.
I use FRAPS to record and Corel Video Studio 12 to edit. Corel is a VERY easy program to use.

I use pinnacle studio myself (mainly because i got it for free :P). You can do the stuff with windows movie maker or the mac equivalent, but they tend to be slow and don't do a very good job.
As for recording the video, I tend to just record a demo file, then record the demo to an AVI movie. It ties up my computer for a while, but it doesn't slow my computer down noticably while recording, and allows me to create a smooth video file of any quality from it.

I also am working on a tf2 gameplay video. I almost have all the clips I want, so it should be finished pretty soon!

Full version of fraps
(Google is your friend)
full version Sony Vegas

i use Sony Vegas 8 but its all preference really

Thanks very much everyone for your input.

I will try all of them out, hopefully not too hard. ^_^

Thanks again!
