CT Office Strategies

Whenever I play on the office server as a CT (because T is usually full) I spawn in the garage, buy some stuff, and get ready to save some hosties. By the time I get in the right state of mind, I've got T's rushing in from the east side of garage. So, instead of spawn camping I get my ass out the other way. By the time I enter the building T's are EVERYWHERE and it's hard to know where they'll come from.

Any tips? This is the server I fail most at....

No, but seriously:

Step 1) Put up a meaningful resistance to the T garage rush.
Step 2) Force Ts back into projector.
Step 3) Co-ordinate massive rush with CT team into projector.

Win.

1. Set a few binds for your favorite weapons.
2. NEVER go through garage unless CTs are ALL rushing!
3. Flash, but RUSH right after because its pointless to flash and just sit there.
4. Learn the spots where Ts usually rush and or camp (they mostly camp longhall)
5. If able to rush them from behind. If you know they are coming through garage than by all means, surprise them with a knife

All in all practice the map more often. I can't play the map anymore because I cant agree to the terms. Seems my 1 button isn't functional anymore while in-game. If anyone knows how to fix this then please let me know lol.

A CS:S server without flashbang spamming will never come. As long as people are allowed to flashbang they will lol

People just need to learn that as soon as you throw the flash you RUSH.

I can't tell you how many times I have lived through flashes because people flash me and then wait until I can see again. Then they come rushing in only to get blasted by my ak47. Then you hear of me hacking because the flash didn't affect me lol

BTW, can someone explain to me why my '1' key works outside of Source, but when I am in-game, it doesn't allow me to accept the terms? Is there a way to fix this little issue? (already unistalled the game and re-installed).

Yeah that happens to me too you just have to wait till it kicks you and when you join the 2nd time it'll show up. i know it's a pain but nm else we can do

Alright thanks guys can someone please tell me what to bind to set up a quickbuy?? sounds extremely useful but I've never heard of it!

-Check your '1' bind, it might be set to something else and if I remember right - even when you uninstall, the game keeps your old config. So, sounds like the problem to me. Try unbind, rebind.

My ct strategy that I use ~85% of the time, is to go garage. I can hold or even clear garage, sometimes on my own. If you're not use to office or don't have high skills, I suggest staying in the back, wherever you go, and give your team mates some cover fire.

My best advice for being a ct? Use all the available grenades, it's a small map, the chance that a grenade will hit an opponent is high and utilized correctly can take out quite a chunk of the T's players.
