When ATI Radeon HD 5870 supports DirectX 11 and 3 monitors management seemed sufficient for a gamer, AMD presents a new model for worship, the ATI Radeon HD 5870 Eyefinity 6 Edition. so will this card require a second case attached to the main case to hold it in?

Yeah, I saw that. It can support more LCD screens than I can afford. :P

I never liked the idea of 3 or 6 monitors. The space in between would always bother me, so I would rather just have one huge 50in+ or something.

Reviews state that you get sick of it.

They said that the bezels are a killer and really start to piss you off after a while. Basically, all the eye candy and huge screen wears off after a few months.

They do not that its good.................when viewed from really really really far away :P

I'll +1 for that.

I have one 50 incher and 2 other 30 inchers. I use the 2 30 inchers to see my aol and etc where as i use the 50 inch ONLY for games.

Thats insane. I see no need for 6 monitors. 3, maybe. 6 Just gets in the way of you playing. With 3, you'd be in the center, and have just the environment on the other 2 screens

But, Imagine that card with only 1 screen. I bet with 1 screen, you could play anything at maxed settings. Maybe. I haven't read up on this stuff yet. :/

I don't like it. It's not powerful enough to handle 6 monitors @ max res/settings at smooth(er) frame rates. Spending upwards $450 + the price of the monitor for only under 30 frames on max? Closer to 20, actually. Not worth it. And the bezels just get in the way.

As much as you guys don't like this, that's utterly amazing.

Sorry, but Nvidia can't do that with its current cards.

this is a stupid question, but....why do monitors need the huge bezel around the edge? My monitor (Samsung T240HD) has a bezel that at it's smallest is 1" and goes up to 2" in places.

If monitors didn't have huge bezels eyefinity would be awesome; however, since monitors DO have those crazy eyesores around the edge...meh :(

Before I buy 6 monitors, I'd look into an HD projector - big picture, NO bezels
