Alrighty, so last night I finished installing bfbc2 and started single player only to find a blank white screen -.-. Same with online. I should be able to run it but its on low and I have everything at the right settings. Anyone got any tips. remember blank white screen that appears only after I move I still get graphics for like one second then blank. Please help.

That is called the "White Screen of Death" and is common among Nvidia's GPUs.

Can you please list what kind of card you have, the driver date for it and manufacturer?

Thank you very much.

EDIT: Excuse me, please also list whether you run it through STEAM or EADownloadManager, your OS, and if you have Windows Vista/7, are you running it in administrator mode? As in, right click > Run as admin.

Running windows xp. ASUS EAH4350 1 gb. Don't know the driver date but they are all up to date.

The 4350 is an ATI card so i wouldn't isolate the issue to just NVidia cards.

..Uh? What? What does the 4350 have to do with anything? And I said "is common among Nvidia GPU's" not "only affects Nvidia GPU's".

Excuse me for the late response, but can you please confirm your driver version? According to ASUSTek Website, they released an update 3 days ago and I can't give you suggestions without the proper information.

An easy way to determine this is to click Start > Run > Type "dxdiag" without the quotes and hit OK. > If message pops up click "OK" or "Yes", if not skip > List Direct X version found in the first tab > Click the second tab "Display" > Please list "version" and list any problems in the symptom window below if any. > Close window and post here.

Again, sorry for the late response and I hope to get you back to fragging real soon.

..OK, I understand that.

That has nothing to do with this thread which is why I'm questioning where that came from, respectfully.

Back on topic, it seems you have an outdated driver, the most recent is:
ASUS VGA card display driver version 8.703 for Windows XP

I have provided an easy/quicker DL link for you to the driver [ame="http://rapidshare.com/files/371258036/ati8703_WinXP32.zip.html"]here.[/ame]

Try installing the driver and play again, if it resolves your problem, let us know. If it doesn't, let us know too!

Good luck and I hope to get you back to gaming real soon.

Rager, I'm happy you've gotten back to gaming.

Anything else let me know!
