Playing BC2 makes you a better Insurgency Player

I've noticed after I've done some seat time on Bad Company 2 and then switched over to Insurgency that I am better at playing INS. It's a totally different world in INS now after experiencing BC2s.

I've noticed that Insurgency is more of a VOICE communication based game where you need to communicate in order to win while BC2 all you have to do to communicate is to press the "Q" button.

Who else here noticed that also after playing BC2? and share your reasons why with us.

hmmmm, for me if i DO play another game, i get better at ins due to the interest level..

LIke you sort of get too used to ins that you start getting bad so you end up playing Lets say ... BC2 and when you get back into INS you feel like you were missing something in it from BC2 which than would make you play better and enjoy the game more...

Know what iam saying?
:P

i agree bc2 helped me a lot! before my KDR was like -90 and now improved i get about -10 :D

I object it makes me worse at ins. I forget to go prone all the time and get owned. I was on marine side the other day and i see a guy at those boxes near spawn Im at tower so im like ahahahh and I aim above the head and the bullet doesnt drops and i scream What the hel...icopter was that?

I thought it'd be the other way around:

Being used to voice chat in INS and carrying that over to BC2 in addition to the spotting would make you a better player.

I hardly notice people using voice chat on BC2. Everyone gets lazy doing universal "Q" talk button.

Well I have been playing BC2 for awhile now and I'd have to say that I'm a little better with my reaction time when attacked. I've also seen a small improvement with my scores, most of the time.

Yea I have better reaction time after playing bc2
The voice chat on bc2 is so useless that I listen to music while I play
so now I have the habit of playing music while playing insurgency, and listening to music dose not go well with playing Insurgency (some maps its ok if you snipping or mg but while running and hiding as a rifleman "no" plus you have to admin every 5 mins on insurgency but you just play the game on bc2! every once in a while someone types so junk in text but its nothing like Ins.
...so my attention and awareness have all gone up in Insurgency after playing bc2 I guess it's due in part to the larger size maps, camo, and faster game play.

Well, the comparisons is obvious. I was hoping of a better voice chat experience than BF2 offered on BC2. If BC2 had an all team voice chat then it would really be awesome!!

Completely agree. I think that was a very poor decision on the devs part... :(
