Computer Trouble

hey guys well it started tonight i noticed that when i load steam it will start freezing my programs on my computer such as Mozilla FireFox and when i try opening a game it wont do anything i clicked in the my games tab in steam and it keeps on searching for game updates... and wont do anything but search and then it will freeze up my computer again. It was working perfectly fine yesterday and this morning and i have no clue on what happened.


It will work if Steam is not Opened up.

Reinstall Steam? How much RAM do you have? Have you run a virus scan recently?

I reinstalled Steam and i have 3 GB of Ram and i did run a Virus scan and i did have Spyware on my computer and i got rid of it and now everything works. Thankyou though and this thread can be closed.

Also in the future, threads like this need to be placed in the tech help area, not tech talk. Just a lil fyi there.
