My computer

Hi guys,

I've owned my computer for quite a few years now and since im not a computer tech sort of person I dont ever upgrade it or enhance or whatever..
But recently my computer has been going extremely slow, it takes me sometimes 30 mins to get onto dods to play from the point i turn the computer on. I also have an outdated video driver and this warning comes up everytime I play dods, I would fix download or purchase a new one but I have no idea which one haha, last time my friend helped me to sort it but it obviously needs doing again.

Can anybody give me some advice with this?

Are you looking to build your own, or buy one from a company of sorts?

if it's just recently started acting slower, and your not trying to do anything you haven't been doing for a while.

Have you tried running the usual Malware and spyware removal stuff see if you got something in there slowing you down?


usually if a system is working fine for you needs but "starts to go slow" it doesn't mean you have to spend money on a new system, just do some house cleaning.

I had problems with it before, a few months ago it got infected with multiple trojan horses. I sorted that out but its never been the same its just slow and im just not sure how what I should do with it.

I would just go with a format. Wipe everything clean and backup only what important.

Or just run intensive virus and malware scans,
CCleaner, Registry cleaner,
update video drivers.
To update your video drivers, download GPU-Z, run it and take a screen shot of it to show us which drivers you will need.
