So on my way home, I began thinking up some unanswerable questions, like What color does a smurf turn when you choke it?

I decided to allow some of you to post some questions up with other people answering in often serious/hilarious ways.

Heres one: (courtesy of my friend Talbot)

If Pinochio says his nose will grow, what will happen?

the meaning of life is to not waste the one life you are given

live every day as your last

no regrets

How do you know you only have on life, and not reborn into another body? Is it because more people die than people are born? Or is there a so-called "waiting list" of life. Or if you have a set destiny, you die, or your friend dies tomorrow, maybe you should thin of about that?

What is the meaning of life. Answer that.

Well the meaning of life can be broken down into two fundamental concepts:

One: People aren't wearing enough hats.

Two: Matter is energy. In the universe there are many energy fields which we cannot normally perceive. Some energies have a spiritual source which act upon a person's soul. However, this "soul" does not exist ab initio as orthodox Christianity teaches; it has to be brought into existence by a process of guided self-observation. However, this is rarely achieved owing to man's unique ability to be distracted from spiritual matters by everyday trivia.

Also, that question is pretty trite at this point

Well according to the Roman Catholic church, we are born to die. Once we die, our soul leaves the body and goes to an eternal life in heaven, with God.

Of course different religions have different views

It wont grow. Because he isnt lying.

if he said "My Nose Will Grow Now" it will create a paradox:

If it doesn't grow, then he will be lying forcing his nose to grow, but if it does grow, then he would be telling the truth and his nose should not grow at all....

get out of this one

42 , haven't you ever read the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy?

Here is a question no one can ever answer...

What will my pregnant wife ask me to get her tomorrow to eat?

and going back to the meaning of life

life in itself is a miracle

and a shameless quote from Watchmen gives a good definition of miracles
"Miracles. Events with astronomical odds of occurring, like oxygen turning into gold. I've longed to witness such an event, and yet I neglect that in human coupling, millions upon millions of cells compete to create life, for generation after generation until, finally, your mother loves a man, Edward Blake, the Comedian, a man she has every reason to hate, and out of that contradiction, against unfathomable odds, it's you - only you - that emerged. To distill so specific a form, from all that chaos. It's like turning air into gold. A miracle. And so... I was wrong. Now dry your eyes, and let's go home."

its a bit sappy and romantic but a good definition of miracles nonetheless.

ive got a couple of these

When sign makers go on strike, is there anything written on their signs?

If a mute swears, does his mother wash his hands?

If a book is titled A Failure. and not a single copy sells is it a success?

When God sneezes what do you tell him?

That's not the meaning. That's the answer of the ultimate question of life, the universe, and everything. An answer is not a meaning. But it is the meaning of our life, so...yes.

And we all know what color a smurf turns when he can't breath. Plaid.

If one is the loneliest number, then why is two the loneliest number since the number one?
