Not exactly techno, but I'm a fan of house (e.g., Paul Oakenfold), trance (e.g., Kaskade, Tiesto), and Drum 'n' Bass (e.g., Pendulum). Also like some electronicia genres. Fun music.

Isnt there a difference between techno trance and dance?

I guess when people hear any kind of electronic/drumnbass/dubstep/trance/techno/house song, the first thing that automatically pops in their head is techno (maybe because it's such a common term)...so therefore they consider it all to be techno. I actually used to think of all those genres as "techno" too.

But now that these genres of music are all I listen to, I do notice the difference in them. Started getting really into electronic/house/trance first a couple years ago. Just recently I started listening to dubstep .... I like it uh-lot! Now all I listen to is electronic/dubstep/trance/house!!

As for techno, mehhh it's okay. Too much for me sometimes, but hey, that's just my opinion.

I suggest you actually research the history of the various genres before saying something like that.

At first I got into happy hardcore, but quickly switched to trance. Theres a few techno songs that are good, but thats all. I have over 1400 tracks, most of which are trance. Some are house, drum n bass, & various electronica.
