Leveling up in eGO

Hi everyone,

I have been in the Edge gamers organization for about 6-8 months now, and have been active in the organization. (i.e been involved in the event shows and have been making friends in the orginization.) But I have gotten no word of being allowed to "level up" yet I have seen people who have moved up to the rank of eGO in 3 months. They say to be active and have fun but I have. I really don't know what to do to be noticed.

Ventrilo is one of the best ways. Befriending people will get you noticed.

Well, your not the only one in the same boat. I've been and eG for TWO years! Anyway, your time will come soon. Just dont worry about them. Be yourself. Also, just a reminder to everyone,
When a pub player does something wrong, and there are admins in the server(eG-eGO), dont try to admin. We appreciate the help, but admins are trained for this . Your time will come.


And Ventrilo is an amazing way to get noticed. Make some friends, maybe Advisors, Admin Trainers, G's, O's, Division Leader's and even Council! Or if your having a bad day, come talk to us. We are your second family. Dont be shy here, we dont pound on people for fun.

Yeah, Try to be active on the forums as well (Posting a lot?) It helps your chances as well. But Like shadows said just try to make friends on Ventrilo that will increase your chances a lot.

The keys to being promoted.

1. Be active in the game and get to know people. Vent as mentioned is one of the BEST ways to know people.
2. Regularly attend events, event coordinators take attendance and it's a great way to try out new things
3. Recruit new members! One of the best ways to get noticed is to bring in new recruits for eGO
4. Make quality posts on the forums!

You can be the most active person ever ingame and at events, but that is only part of becoming an admin (eG). What you need to do is, cone in with the best attitude, and make an impression on people. You don't want to just be known as another guy, you want to be known as a great person. Once people get to know that great person, they want to see them move up


Like others have said, ventrilo is a great way of doing this. You get to meet people, play with them, have good discussion, and have fun!


That's what I did when I came here. I came to eGO to find out about it, and was welcomed by this massive clan, ready to accept me in a moment. I was welcomed by Turk & Hardstyle4life like I had been here for months.


So yeah, that's my little speech. You can do whatever you want, but you want to do something that makes you stand out from the others

The best way to 'level up' as you say is to simply not take it into account when playing.

I joined this server because people on Vent made me feel at home and I just overall enjoy talking to everyone when I have a bad day.

Be active, join events when possible, help out with filling servers, chat with us in Vent (don't just stay in your division, move around a bit).

Being an E may seem like a problem at times, but we need to start somewhere.

Good luck and honestly don't worry about promotions. Your time will come soon enough, just give eGO some time

Ya, first piece of advice is to not just ask for getting a promotion.

But after that, just be active and help promote the same gaming environment that got you to join eGO in the first place
