Admin Chat and You! (Jail)

Good evening, the purpose of this post is to address the problems in admin chat. I know that getting freekilled is very frustrating and even more frustrating when an admin doesn't catch it. But spamming and or complaining in admin chat is not the way to handle the situation.

As admins, it is our Job to enforce these rules to the best our our ability, but keep in mind that at any time there may be up to 40 players in the jail server and we (as admins) are trying to play and enjoy the game as well.

Here is a perfect example of how you should handle a freekill situation if you see that no corrective action has taken place after a few moments have passed.

Example: (ADMINS) =(e)=™ Toorop: foofoo could you keep an eye on "blank" please and thank you

This is a real example of a T who was freekilled and properly notified the admins after he saw that nothing had been done.

Clarification:
1 - Do not spam admin chat saying you got freekilled.
2 - Be professional, swallow your current rageful feelings and treat the admins with respect and it shall be returned to you.

Great post FooFoo, a post on this has been needed for some time now.

As he mentioned freekills are an unavoidable and frustrating part of the game. Please do ensure that you were:
1) Following orders. Many alleged freekill complaints occur because the T was not paying attention
2) Not involved in crossfire, if you were accidentally shot because of a rebelling terrorist please do not bring it up, it happens unfortunately. If it happens more than once please let us know.

The other point i would like to mention is that we WILL NOT revoke if an admin did not witness it in person. I'm sure you could imagine the implications if we believed every claim that was made about freekills. Like foofoo mentioned please let us know who did it and we WILL keep an eye out, we understand where you are coming from and will not simply shove it under a rug.

Final Word:
Admins are only humans and not HAL9000, we can't be everywhere and see everything. We try our best and in the jail environment accidents do happen and won't revoke for every freekill. I'm sure everyone has accidentally freekilled and not expect to be revoked. Just apologize and move on.

Keep rocking the jail server.

Freekilling is a part of jail. If everything went smoothly in jail then it wouldn't be so fun XD.

But anyway go the admins for running the best jail server :]

This! This is where 99% of all problems occur. Also 85% of my statistics are wrong, or made up, but none the less good thread and posts
 
If someone I see is always posting in the Admin chat for EVERY little thing, I generally just psay them =/ It works... But yes Well said, I smell a possible Sticky.

Guys, If you play jail you WILL get freekilled. But just think when you die. Hmm, this person took the time to kill ME, not the guy next to me, but me myself... I must be special to him." He/she took their time to kill you and that means he/she likes you, take him/her out for dinner or a movie and have a good time with them.

I well usally pm a admin on steam if I see freekills its alot easier to take to them in there. Why use Admin Chat when you have friends
