hey guys i just got bc2 and cant play on our servers. i think i didnt install punkbuster when i installed the game. can someone give me a thorough walkthrough(since i have no idea what ea is doing with the way they have their games setup) on how to get this situation fixed. i tried talking to someone at ea about it and they kept telling me to uninstall and reinstall. i would hate to do that for a couple mb since id have to download 5gb all over again on 1.5 mbs inet speed. thanks.

1.at first create an ea account (with ur desire user name) via your mail id.
2.install bfbc2
3.if you install it previously ,keep it.and go to google and dwld updated punkbuster.exe manualy.
4.install it and show it ur bfbc2.exe.
5.run bfbc2 through ur desktop ikon and let it update.
6.put ur ea login data and authentic cdkey when asked.
7.put ur redeem key code into the redeem option of bfbc2.
8.setup ur bfbc2 user settings i.e. audio, video,control etc.
9.go to server search menu and type eGO to find our ego servers, and add them in ur favourite server menu by cliking rmb.
10. enter in the game and we will wait for you there with a gun in hand.

Check the Settings in the game as well and make sure Punkbuster is checked in the lower left as well.

Note: If you downloaded via EA Download manager you won't have to redownload, unless you deleted the cache.
 
Hey, if the stuff these guys above me told you doenst work, pm me:) I can solve every PunkBuster problem:) Sometimes just install PB doesnt work. Let me know if you got it fixed;)
 
I had that issue when I first installed it as well... run the BFBC2updater then try it... I would try that first then follow what these other peoples said
