music in vent

ok iwas in vent yestarday and i waqs listen to i-tunes and the song I f***in hate you by godsmack started playing and i was ask to change it. no big deal but heres the a question if i cant show that song in vent.why are ppl aloud to have the sound S.E.X by nickleback in their intergation song title? how can one song title be better than the other?
 
I'm going to hazard a guess that it's because even by itself, "f***in" is a curse/offensive/swear word, whereas "sex" is not?
 
its cause the same rules go for Ventrilo as server, except in the Rated R rooms but its still shown in public where young members might still be offended, which i played a song close to that and was asked to turn it off, there is no big deal just its up to leadership if you can play it or not thru Vent :P

umm I guess leadership feels bad enough for anyone who would embarrass themselves by displaying that they listen to nickelback?

more seriously, the word sex isnt really rated R and is not uncommon in text at all. Our age limit is 13, and I would be hard pressed to find a 13 year old who has never heard of the word. Its a different case when curse words, racial slurs, etc are used.

Seriously though, here's the deal, and this has come up before: the same rules as in server apply in Ventrilo, but may be slightly relaxed in the Rated R rooms, which minors are expected to avoid. When you use the integration, everyone with an overlay on can see your comment as it appears; we're just trying to uphold our standards and rules, rather than have 200 people see that song title and get the inevitable complaints.
