ok if i make a new steam account. the games i have on my computer will i be able to redownload them or will i have to buy them all over again?

Rebuy them all if they're from Steam. Steam locks games to accounts.

great....idk what im gonna do then because my account is all messed up idk i may have to call it quits. my account got jacked and well....i dont have the proof that the accont was mine anymore so....looks like im screwed

You bought all of your games of of steam? You don't have a disc anywhere of a game you bought for it? If you have just one CD key they can tell if it is assigned to your account.

That should be enough proof.

Well, sorry but unless you feel like buying more copies of your games you're going to have to look for those keys (if you ever bought a solid copy). If you can find a box buried away somewhere in the depths of your home, odds are it will have the CD key in the case.

I hope you find one, I've been on steam for about that long too. Good luck in your searching

Ok well I know that this may seem like a stupid question but have you tried retrieving your account from the main login page? If you remember your account name can't you just put that in and get a changed password sent to your email account?

I'm not sure as I haven't done this yet but that seems like it could work

yes i have tried this umm like 10 times im waiting on a ton of emails and yah steam isnt sending them its been quite a while now and im starting to get pissed off

I -know- for a fact that if you bought any games via STEAM, if you still know the last 4 digits of the CC and the full name on the credit card they'll give your account back.

ok first i want to thank you guys for my help...funny thing is the answer to my problems at least i hope has been found in my email inbox somebody hacked my account and changed the contact email to my account i have opened up a ticket explaining everying.

They are busy a lot of times. I can't tell you how many messages i have got from Steam users saying that support isn't answering and its stupid and expletives about Steam being poorly run. The fact is if you verified your account with your email you should be able to retrieve the information, unless the hacker or whoever was smart enough to change your email account after gaining access. At that point i would start looking for the disk. Since you can install them again you can just relink them to another account. Unfortunately, for games you downloaded off Steam you can only get those linked to the original account. If you need help contact me.

come on ego members dont give up I lost mine a year ago and finally got it back threw steam you need to keep contacting them there are thousands of players and it takes them time to get threw them all
