Me too. I enjoy Counter-Strike MUCH more than MW2 I played it.

There's a reason why Steam are doing this. Also you can't choose what game you join and there aren't any servers which just doesn't cut it for me.

Well im glad that I saw this thread now. Thanks for the info bout this game further. Im still considering BC2, but school takes priority right now.

yeahhh got mine preloaded, but it doesn't start till 4PM PST, and that means 7PM EST ):
 
Has anyone been able to pre-load, everytime I click on the link it does nothing. Wanted to try it out and compare to BC2. Don't c any other link to pre-load, firt time I have actually hear of doing it.
 
What a load of crap. I've wasted 4GB of my monthly bandwidth preloading this game..

And you get an error about some localization.txt thing. Then you restart Steam, finding that it REDOWNLOADS the entire game. 12GB? Really now. I'm not even going to preload this anymore, and what a crappy deal. Only $9 off. What was the point of preloading 4GB, only having to find you have to redownload this at a cost of 12GB more? UGH.

Back to Bad Company 2.

Thats the most ridiculous thing ive heard today. Definitely NOT downloading it :/
 
The pre-load worked perfectly fine for me, toke me 1.9 hours to download and install.

I finally tried it at 7:30 and it went through finally, taking forever, it's almost 10 and only half way done!! It's only peaking at 1.6 rrrrr.... Left it along for like 1.5 hours playing BC2 on the PS3 still going nowhere, same as when I am surfing!
