Lastly, VAC Is a tool to keep cheaters and hackers off games. Once you try to get past is, you get hit by VAC, and you are instantly denied access to thousands of VAC enabled servers.


I recommend avoiding becoming VAC banned if you want to stay on eGO servers.

Pretty sure you don't know what causes a VAC ban, 5star.

VAC bans are triggered by the Source engine being edited by an external .exe file. Configs can't trigger VAC.

Unless configs were somehow modified to stop VAC affecting the client, which is almost impossible to do.


VAC is one of the most advanced anti-cheat systems out there. Not much gets past it

It's a config that tweeks or increase your game performance. No you cannot get vac banned -_- you just copy and past it into notepad.

Although has it ever been heard of someone modifying steam config files to avoid bans? I know I was disconnected from a server one day because the client was "Unable to establish connection to VAC", so it doesn't seem possible
