This is his new video he is sharing with us.
Incase you don't know, General Blue is a regular on 2fort and has been since I started in Feburary. (I'm sure he's been here well over that)

He is known for his Engineer/Heavy skills and is a real friendly gentleman.
Sadly, he rejects joining eGO. :(

But yeah, check out his other videos too!

Actually quite handy. Of course, I'll never play engi or 2fort so it's a moot point :P.

Your sentry position is almost perfect, but it's not blocking the walkway fully move it back just a little more away from the stairs, so Spy's cant get you. They have to jump over the sentry by the time they get a cross you wrenched them to death.

I disagree with his methods.

The Sentry should be placed more inside the hayroom, like right in the middle of the spawn doorway, with a line of sight to the straight stairs. It should also be rotated so it faces the grate door. This makes sure it covers all three ways into the intel. The reason I make it face the grate is because the grate is the safest place to pop-in-and-out to attack the sentry, especially for a Soldier. Making it face the grate allows it to fight back immediately. Yes, this means it's slower to respond to the sniper deck and the straight stairs, but the sniper deck is generally a very busy place anyway and the straight stairs are generally a busy area because it's the courtyard.

I also put my dispenser to block off the spiral stairs way deeper, right up until you can't see it from the grate but still blocking the doorway completely. This is so that Soldier and Scouts that went up the grate won't simply destroy the dispenser out of sight from the grate room and then scamper inside the spiral where they are safe. It makes it look like there is no dispenser, so the first time they try it, they'll get killed. The second time, they'll know the dispenser is there, but a Soldier won't be able to attack it via direct rockets and a Scout won't be able to attack it without exposing himself to Sentry fire, so it buys the Engie more time.

Really nice tips for defending the intel. Thanks for posting this.

Wow! That was pretty awesome, i thoroughly enjoyed that :) 5 Stars!

Swap the teleporter entrance and exit on the stairs so spies don't get up. Your team can just use the stair closer to your spawn instead of that one whenever they need to get up.
