Hey all, can anyone suggest any HQ recorder that can do ingame recordings with more than 30fps, kthx :))

I hear the full version of Fraps does what you want, but can be pricey if you're on a $5 budget :P

Fraps is fairly good. Also, using the source ingame recorder works fairly well ive heard.

The recording function in Source does the job (If you are playing a Source based game of course)

I'm guessing your aim is to record INS Demos, in which case you would be recording everything you would see (Textures, gameplay, etc) So a 3rd party recorder would be a waste when you have a In game recorder that does everything it should.

Fraps. End of, sorry but i dont want to end up with 1000 pictures.

Well There are alot of Recorders That work good, But most of them you have to buy to get a decent quality video. Im running a dual core pc and when i try the Trials or something they are all laggy and u cant see nothing so you will have to buy a recorder to get a good video lol.

i have the full fraps (borrowed from the intwerwebs) but the fps dont wanna go over 30 and the quality is not that much of a problem i know how to fix it, but i need something that is over 30 fps.. and about recording demoes. ./ i dont know how to make them to a .wav file

What beta said, you can even convert the .dem file if you plan on uploading to YouTube.

You don't want to know how to convert a demo file to a .wav because you won't have video, .Wav is a sound file

Console commands should work in INS, can't be bothered to verify myself at the moment.

After you record the demo and stop it, play it back and type startmovie mymovie avi (you can rename mymovie to whatever you want, of course)

Endmovie in console stops recording.
