Steam Express?

I was wondering how everyone else felt like, too.

Ever been away from your computer?
Need to talk to someone on Steam?
An admin, anything?
Don't want to install Steam or can't install Steam?

Why not Steam Express?
Kinda like AIM Express, but for Steam, haha.

Do you guys think this is a good idea?

Are you just asking out of curiosity or is there an idea brewing. Having a good idea is one thing, doing something about it is another.

I think most of us would like this if it were possible.

It's an issue floating around on the Steam forums, just thought I'd ask eGO.

It's gonna be considered soon after support for Mac OS's finish.

I agree, I was on vacation for a week and it would have been nice to be able to talk with my friends on steam. I also use Pidgin to link all my IM's and if Steam were to become supported that would be nice too.
