IDK if im in the right area but oh well...
For the last few days i haven't been able to log into steam at all. It keeps telling me either the account or the password are wrong, but im 99.99% sure both of them are right. My internet connection is fine. I tried resetting my password but it also keeps telling me the security question is wrong.... which once again im 99.99% sure its right....anyone else having the same problem? also any ideas/tips on what to do?

Calling Valve would be the easiest solution, since they can handle you instantly over the phone

and it really helps if you have a scan or can make a scan of the cd-key of one of your games if you bought one retail (think your first steam game, ie I have my portal cd-key)
 
if i remember correctly i bought the HL2 Packet with hl2 and portal and tf2 but il look through the rubble and c if i can find anything
 
Even if you can't, just contact Valve and let them know what happened and see what they need. Find something, anything, that validates that it is indeed your account. But to do that you gotta contact Valve. So go to Steam Support NAO!
 
While admittedly this is hearsay, based on a conversation I had earlier with another member here there is a strong possibility your account has indeed been hijacked.

I got a steam message from you today, but i was not at my comp. Was it you?
 
although i do remember getting a message from a eGO member that wasnt on my friend list with a link to what seamed to be steams website. but i remember the site having .br or something at the end. it coulda been a fake site with a keylogger or something
