I saw they had this one on the TF2 forum so I thought since dod:s is a wwII game we should totally have it here too!

As most of you know eGO honors our military veterans, wether you've served in the navy, army, marine corps, honor guard or maybe even special forces, eGO looks at veterans a certain way, a way of honor.
Having served in the armed forces shows that you are willing to risk your life and safety for your country and what you believe in and eGO recognizes you effort.
Not only will you be rewarded with a ribbon but you will also have a special place in our heads and hearts. No matter what country or what devision of the armed forces you've served in, we will honor you. The fact that you can play with us emphasizes that you have freedom and those of you who've put your lives on the line for that freedom is what we find special.

So post your story's or ranks here and ( hopefully ) you will be getting the national service ribbon soon.

I personally would like to salute all of you vets!

im a specialist in the 66th Aviation Brigade in the Washington State national guard. im a crew chief on a blackhawk.
 
Local patrol officer and emergency response team (swat team and catastrophe relief in one unit). Looking to get a K9 unit soon.

US Navy. Bootcamp in Great Lakes as part of Div 97-335, followed by ET "A" school and Nuke Power School in Orlando. Unfortunately I had a medical issue show up and was discharged before going off to NPTU Ballston Spa, so never got to be on a boat. :(
 
I am a specialist in the United States Army, I am currently with 2 battalion 503rd Infantry 173rd Airborne "Sky Soldiers!". I've have been in the army since I was 17 which is about almost 5 years now. I was hurt during an airborne operation in Italy back in June, I crushed my L1 vertebrae and broke my Tib/Fib in my left leg. I am now waiting on my medical discharge from the service. Hope it wont be long so I can finally start going to college again.

Best wishes to all my brothers in the 173rd over in Afghanistan!

Currently a Master Sergeant stationed at Ft Lewis. Getting readyto hang up my hat after 24 years of service. I will retire in about 6 months, so that I can start a new career for another 20+ years.

I have a buddy at Ft Lewis hes with 2nd Ranger Bat. Love the place too whenever I'm there just rains too much for me.
 
Thank you guys for you service, I'm thinking about enlisting myself, I went to Military School for 6 months it was cake, its like Army BCT with out Guns foreal.
 
my dad was in the marines and fought in the peace keeping war in lebanon berut however u say those 2 it was around those areas he dont talki about i much so i dont have details on where exactly
 
I proudly served 5 years in the US Navy - last served aboard the USS HOIST ARS-40 out of Little Creek Va - thanks for supporting us vets!
 
I really want to thank those who have served in the Army and risked their lives for us. I truly appreciate everything your doing for your (our) country.

i would have to say, being in the army 5 years, its been long and interesting, i been apart of the National Guard, then went Active Duty, dont some fun stuff, now i am working on a few schools to help my ERB :).

hopefully to be picked sometime down the line to be a DS= Drill Sergeant.

Make sure you do some correspondence courses that will help out your ERB and if your a medic a EFMB, Infantry EIB, or Cavary Scout EIC. Airborne school is easy and thats about 15 points. If you get honor Grad at WLC you get more points.

Oh yeah and college credits give you points

BL4SPH3MY time goes by quick when you're having fun. LOL.

My time went by qucik and have been to some amazing places and done some amazing things. I have met some of my best friends in the Army.

Lieutenant, Navy Special Ops., two tours in Vietnam; Chu Lai & Da Nang.

i know all that maxed out in Correspondent courses, i am going Air assault, whenever they schedule my Dang class, and will be doing WLC, in the next couple months, hopefully, just money issue with Command and stuff unfortunatly.
