I voted No because #1 BC2 doesn't have events and we do fine,
#2 Events draw admins off the servers
#3 Events cost us another server and therefore more money
#4 They cause EVERYONE to SPAM EVERYONE ELSE to join their event REGARDLESS OF IF THEY HAVN'T ATTENDED AN EVENT IN LIKE A MONTH OR 2 KUDO OR SOUL SINNER *COUGH COUGH*

I will admit, the average gamer does find them quite entertaining, but, personally, i prefer just getting out in a server and having some fun. I hate having to abide by certain event rules etc, just getting out in the server and having fun is what im about. So please, if you will, im sure you will, go ahead and send your rage pms to my inbox.

No.

It's fine to have some events, but they arent that important of a thing. I find it more important for people to go and wake some servers up.

I think that as a whole eGO needs events.

Reasons:
-It helps promote the servers!
-Events bring outsiders in that are just sitting around on the forums.
-Shows that eGO is more than just gaming, we are a community and a family!
-Breaks the monotony ( We all know that sometimes just gaming isnt enough! Need Moar!)
-Gives us a chance to make a difference (Everyone can submit an event idea via dropbox/pm)
-Helps us get to know each other better and promotes teamwork! Events make us talk to each other to get things done. Especially if its an objective event (VIP, Team Events)

I, for myself, decided to choose eGO as my new clan when i left ,about a month ago, EoH cause they had Spec Ops & Events, wich i believe attracts many new recruits compared to the traditional clans who just play the server(s) without too much interest.

I believe events is a part of what makes eGO an awesome clan to be into.

I don't REALLY go to them all that much anymore cause of school...but yeah. They bring us all together. Plus they are REALLY fun!

If you voted no, you're going to the wrong events :P

Just FYI, you aren't limited by your division! I attend some of the CSS events, like Deathrun, MiniGame night, and Meet and Greet.

eGO offers a lot of fun and creative events in all the divisions, if some of the events in your division aren't fun, maybe make a suggestion or two to the EC team or try some of the other divisions events.

I voted no, they are not important and i personally dont like attending events.
But some people find it entertaining(92% of those who answered to poll) and important!

I Think 95% of the community say Yes :) event are important, they are a necessity for a gaming community because people look forward to those things to bonds and make friends with their fellow clan members specially in such a big community.

Events are necessary to keep a division alive. Without events, the division becomes just that - a division that does nothing.

Events provide a fun experience ingame, and is a good way for our new recruits to get to know people.

I agree 100%. However, events can be bad too. Events can leave people out due to the server limit of people. From past experience if it is a large event like a scrim or ins vs css eGO's get to go in first and then everyone esle is either lucky or screwed. So they can be good or bad....

Events are very important, they help to keep the community and find someone you never saw yet

depends of the division, some divisions have great events and lots of ideas that are worked out and a lot of the members attend those events but in some divisions the events slack sometime.

I think they are important cuz they is the time people do something different on the server (event) and they play with eGO players ONLY so its like 1h of eGO only UNusuall playing with buddys

Honestly I feel the events don't help too much.

For me they're all horseplay, and I get kinda bored during them.

Because you're messing around, not actually playing the games.

I do like the Royal Rumble, mostly because everyone is serious about the game and it feels competitive.

I'm not into the whole shenanigans and silliness.

But that's just me.
