A research team at the Hasso Plattner Institute, Germany, developed a way to interact with larger areas than those of a multi-table.
Multitoe This is an interactive floor which is based on FTIR (frustrated total internal reflection) to identify and track users based on their patterns of soles (shoes), so you can ignore inactive users and focus only on known users. You can also recognize the positions of the feet and interact with the floor with a very high precision.
Thus users could write with his foot on a QWERTY keyboard to invoke menus or playing Quake Unreal Tournament, and there is no problem in saying that "they did with their feet."
