Between Your Health And The Game, which one?

@ zetas ; thats the whole point, they don't actually knew how much a 10 to 15 min break can do. I must say that to myself too, like just now for instance, played until i don't really know that it's shooting more than 2 hours. Oh well, beats it. Now i'm having itch at my eyes. **so tempted to rub them**

+1 buddy I'm gona start doing that 1 hour look away for 15 minutes thing because my eyes are terrbile as it is my eye prescription is 3.50+ on both side T-T

Well Doc I say take a break every hour. In my younger years of playing DoD I would play for hours without stopping. It is not very healthy to do that. And the game was taking away not only from my health but from my family and friends. I say take a short break every hour to two hours. Now I usually play for 30 mins at a time. I wish I could play more but my work has increased.

@ Redone, ah! yes yes, you resolved the thing that keeps running on my mind, you were right, not only it affects one's health, but also, it separates from family and friends! Thanks for the reminder.
@Kawaii, yea, you should do that from now on. Since you have a prescription of 3.50+ , i suggest you should have an intake of raw tomatoes, they improve your eyesights, and try to reduce the amount of gaming maybe for this whole week? (:

Some people need to find a happy medium where you can sit down and enjoy a game. If you lack discipline, your not going to be able to stop playing a game. All in all, everything needs to be done in small doses, I for one go outside as much as possible. In my town we have zip to do, but I still try to get out. Don't neglect anything that you value over a game, that should be common knowledge.

I play like 5 hours a day, never got a migraine since the first time I gamed which was probably like 5 years old.

I guess my Asian Powers help me

If you havent heard me whinning about an AC seperation in my shoulder and 3 broken ribs yet well youll get your chance. I had to borrow my friends controller whivh i use that for my dpad, jump, and crouch commands and my mouse on top of a book to play from my recliner/bed. So if someone as pitiful as me can play i would say a headache and burning retinas are a minor discomfort.

@stormy, yes yes, a headache and burning retinas, may be minor, but as time passes, you will soon to realize that it might get worst and also, sorry to hear about your AC separation with 3 broken ribs. ):

DOD is my greatest mental relaxer. After a day of classes or studying organic chemistry I say 'screw to hell'; then I kill my first Nazi and I immediately feel purified. sometimes more than 4 hours of DOD is necessary to purge my brain. mental health trumps physical health. I have waterpolo for exercise.

This is a great thread, I think everyone should atleast give it a look. For me, I have a wife and a 3 year old daughter. If I play anything over an hour to an hour and a half, it's not the gaming that gives me the headache. By then I have one of them yelling in my ear. But I always take a break every death to go check and see how my little muchkin is. Once again though, great thread!

I eat raw tomatoes all the times I love em I just hate carrots =(

@ Kawaii, err, kinda odd, i mean, carrots are like Nice (: haha, even if you can have an intake of carrots, try not to eat to many of them, can really make your skin turn orange, but not like those obvious orange . hahaha.

I LOL-ed at the room getting dizzy part.

What if I'm just spinning around in circles on my computer chair? XD

Hmmmm i usually play close to 3 hours and nothing happens??? literally nothing i can remember, im not saying this to look cool im telling the truth.

@ wind, lol i do that when i'm bored. But it kills my brain whenever i stop it. XD

@persian Elite Hmm, i guess you can endure that long, if you were to try at least about 9 - 10 hours non stop, and believe me, there are people out there doing it, you will definitely get Headaches or even more injuries then that.
