Admins, sorry if this is in the wrong place, I needed to put it somewhere where they could all view it (That will make sense in a second.)
Just a minute ago I was playing on our Dust server, when suddenly cursing, disrespectful maniacs came crawling out of the woodwork, along with a mic spammer. No admins were online, so I contacted Tomi through steam and after a bit of time he sent silverlock when I PM'd him again.
In the time it took the Silver to get there, some e's understandably got fed up with the spammers and swearers. This is fair; I dont like seeing rulebreakers either. A couple asked them to stop. Good work guys! They started swearing at you, but they seemed to be blowing themselves out when ignored. It was going alright, although disrupting gameplay.
Until you started acting like Admins, and threatening them with kicks. Im going to tell you WHY you shouldn't do that.
When you threaten them, you simply aggravate them. They are looking for a reaction. If they continue swearing after you have asked them, as a clan member, chances are they aren't going to be cowed by a threat. Also, when you threaten them, then take no action, they see this as encouraging, and will often do it MORE. Lastly, as you have no real powers, you will get swamped with complaints and be unable to do anything, it makes us in the eyes of the pubs. Some of them probably think it takes our admins ten minutes to respond now. If you guys had simply ignored them, and told the rest that an admin was on the way (Which I should have done, I admit. I was rather wrapped up in ignoring them and playing.) The game could have continued with minimal fuss.
On the upside, it was heartening to see you guys and even most of the pubs upholding the rules. Great clan spirit, but you are an e to have fun! Leave the admining to the admins and dont stress about rulebreakers. Just add every eG and eGO you see to your friends list (Sorry guys, enjoy the invite spams) and contact them if something goes wrong.

To Admins: Yes, I am aware that there are rules on this. I told these guys to read this thread because A) It was simpler than hauling them all into Vent or PMing every one of them and b) I think its better as a personal adress instead of some guidebook.
