I think they realized that, and is also why they revamped Steam to look so sweet in the beta, also they are becoming more advanced in their game development, there are some sweet new games that are coming out and...MAC COMPATIBLE SOON!

Hopefully Valve creates another Half-Life homerun game (not HL, but a game as big as HL).
