Updates to Team Fortress 2 have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The major changes include:

Team Fortress 2

* Added Sam & Max items
* Fixed the Demoman's Fro not cloaking properly when being used by a disguised Spy
* Reduced the damage bonus the Equalizer receives as the player loses health
o The speed boost was not changed
* Community Request
o Added a flag to info_particle_system to mark particle systems as "weather" effects

Although does anyone know if the new weapons are purely aesthetic? or are they actually different? Oh, and either way I want the luger :drool:, obviously not really a luger, but thats what it reminds me of.

if not aesthetic and you can't also get them via drops/crafting I'll rage too , although looking at it, it looks like they are just replacements for the spy's revolver and ambassador.

i never had a problem with equalizer only beef is the crits they should a just nerfed crits lol the sword is like rapage

The new pistols are completely aesthetic.

As it currently stands, I want skins of them for my normal pistols.

nerfing the equalizer just shows how much they dont know anything about tf2 ingame stuff....they should have nerfed the CnT ...but hey who cares

and those 3 items are just as dumb as the halo, people with it will get flamed,dissed and hunted...who cares..

Nah I disagree, I don't think people will mind too much about people with the items. There's no reason they should, like Bill's hat to promote L4D2.

Charge n' Targe was more balanced than the equalizer, I don't really get annoyed at it that much anymore because I've learned to counter it as almost any class.
