Perhaps you should update the OP stating that you will only accept on pending request per person at a time. Just a suggestion. This thread is really entertaining though. Some of these that i haven't seen look interesting.

Story: Ready for a bit of the old Ultra-violent.
Review: Like your standard film geek, Kubrick is one of my favorite filmmakers. He had never done a bad film, he has some lesser films...but pretty much he has a perfect career. This film is a prime example, it's weird and profound. The story is of course based on Anthony Burgess philosophical/dystopian novel novel of the same name and Kubrick captures everything perfectly. That and I can't hear the song singing in the rain the same way again.

Review: Easily the most cynical film I've ever seen and one that is very relevant today. Our protagonist is a hard nosed newspaper man who exploits a tragedy in the hopes that it will jump start his career. How he manipulates those around him to try to get the most out of the story is amazing. Initially called The Big Circus to try to actually see this film, also it was named after the incredibly blatant metaphor that is found in the film.

Review: Not the worst Brooks comedy, but not really his best either. This Star Wars parody is pretty hit or miss...when it hits it a brilliant comedy that fires a joke a minute. When it misses it gets pretty damn stupid. All in all though it's a successful film and pretty much the best parody of a the original Star Wars trilogy till The Phantom Menace came out.

Review: I went into this one expecting it to suck and I was pleasantly surprised. This film is actually really damn funny. When a group of three friends and some kid travel back in time via a hot tub they are stuck trying not to screw up the continuity and the past. The film has a lot of fun playing with the paradoxes of time travel and it also does a few homages to Back to the Future. If you've enjoyed the latest string of non-Apatow R rated comedies then you'll probably enjoy this.

Story: Dr. Parnassus has to save five peoples souls by the time his daughter turns 16 or the Devil takes his daughter.
Review: Here is the issue with this one: Terry Gilliam is one of the most imaginative filmmakers who ever lived...well except for the last decade. Since Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Gilliam hasn't made a great film. This one is no exception. The film starts out strong, but fall apart at the end. When I say fall apart I mean it completely destroys the film. Part of this could be due to the death of the star of the film, Heath Ledger. Who character was one of the main characters of the film. For the end of the film Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell and Jude Law came in to play Ledgers character. They also added a plot device to explain for the change in actor.
Though I think that a large amount of blame for how the film turned out can be placed on Gilliam himself. He has always had a thing for really crazy anarchic endings, like the one show in this film. You can also see it in Brazil, The Adventures of Baron Munchausen and partially in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. It works in his previous films, I don't know how, but they work. He managed to pull those films together. In this one it just doesn't come together and as such the film suffers.

Story: Nic Cage goes crazy.
Review: This is the kind of film where Nicolas Cage shines. I never understood why he became an action hero, when he belongs in indie or small production dramas where the main character is crazy. In this one, Cage is an EMT who hasn't saved anyone's life in quite sometime. He is haunted by the image of a young girl he hadn't saved. He is suffering from insomnia and is pretty much burnt out by the beginning of the film. The plot takes place over three days and Cage's character slowly but surely descends into the insanity and depravity that surrounds him. Scorsese does an amazing job capturing the feeling of insanity and desperation through out the film. I say it's worth a view if you haven't seen it.

Review: This film makes up for some many of Nicolas Cage's recent disasters. The type of performance he put on here is one of complete brilliance. Now I hate to say this, but I haven't seen the original Bad Lieutenant. But when I heard that this film was coming out I was perplexed...it sounded like a really retarded idea. Why do another Bad Lieutenant? Why is Nicolas Cage in this? Why in the hell is the great Werner Herzog directing this?
The answer to all those questions is: This is an amazing film with a great script.

Reveiw: Fast paced and brilliantly written, this foul mouthed satire takes Anglo-American politics during the events leading up the US invasion of Iraq. The humor is side splitting funny and foul language is some of the most inventive I heard in a long time. On top of that it's incredibly will acted. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Story:I can't really formulate this ones story into words...I also have a chance of ruining the story if I do.
Review: This one is part of a new wave of horror films coming out of France. There films are infamous particularly for their extreme violence and gore. Martyrs is no exception, expect some shocking imagery with this one including brutal torture of women. To sum up this film, I was watching this with a friend and he said, "Dude you know how those Saw films are kind of fun to watch...like in a stupid sort of way. Yeah, well this on isn't, it's just really disturbing and depressing."
I liked the film, it's plot is pretty profound and the film is really well done. But I have a really high tolerance for gore and the other type of horrible crap that goes on in this one.

Everything about this film is terrible; the soundtrack, the characters, the acting, the directing, the plot devices. Everything. I haven't seen the remake, nor do I plan to.

How about "The Prestige", one of my favourite films.

Story: RELEASE THE KRAKEN!!!!!...and that's pretty much it.
Review: Now I've never seen the original so I can't really compare the two, so whatever. Clash of the Titans is not a good film, but not exactly that bad of a film. It exists in the void of mediocrity, where many film of this type can be found. It sad to see this, I mean there was a lot of talent behind this one; we have Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes playing the two main gods...but they don't really excel all that much in their roles. The whole film feels like a build up to the Kraken, but when we finally get to the monstrosity we are treated maybe one minute or so of screen time. It all just so bland. Maybe is just to spoiled with God of War's approach to Greek mythology.

You have to watch the first one to really appreciate the second one.
I grew up watching the first one and I loved it. seeing it remade was great and I loved it.
