Review: I think that Terrence Rafferty from the New Yorker sum this up better than I could, "Raimi works from inside the cheerfully violent adolescent-male sensibility of superhero comics, as if there were no higher style for a filmmaker to aspire to, and the absence of condescension is refreshing."

Story: 28 Days Later meets The Blair Witch Project...yet again.

Review: This is the US remake of REC and as remakes go, this one isn't half that bad. It's pretty close in quality to the original, but subtle changes in the films characters, pacing and story knocks the film down a couple of pegs. As such I do recommend the original over the remake.

Hey Sexy Beast, not sure if you have Taking of Pelham 123 in your Netflix queue, but I just rented the blu-ray version. Ill watch it & give my review for ya. Im sure theres some people that have been wanting to get a review for this movie.

Review: I think I've said this before, but I feel the need to reiterate this: Tony Scott is a hack. Yep, a hack...that man simply suck at directing films. He has three entertaining movies floating in a sea of crap. Taking of Pelham 123 is one of those movies populating that sea of crap. It's simply a poorly done film with a ton of filler and a piss poor story. There isn't a likable character in the whole film...not one. The protagonist is uninteresting and the antagonist just comes off as an ass. I haven't seen the original, but I'm going to venture a guess that it is infinitely better than this turd.

Story: Retired criminal is invited to do one last job.

Review: This is one weird movie and on top of that, the beginning of film moves incredibly slow. The film does pick up though and leads to a satisfying conclusion. It's a well acted film and it's well directed, but not a spectacular movie.

Story: "I don't tip because society says I have to. All right, if someone deserves a tip, if they really put forth an effort, I'll give them something a little something extra. But this tipping automatically, it's for the birds. As far as I'm concerned, they're just doing their job."

Review: Tarantino's debut film is...well...brilliant. The story, acting, directing, pacing, dialog...everything...incredibly well done. This is independent film making at its best. Trust me, despite the foul language of this film, you want to see this movie.
