Hasn't been released in my area yet, but the fact that it does star Rutger Hauer and got actually decent reviews is more than enough reason for me to see it when it does.

Story: Sam Rockwell is on the Moon all alone except for a robot voiced by Kevin Spacey.

Review: The above synopsis doens't really do the film justice. Moon is a tale of loneliness, identity, and of ones self worth. This the debut film of Duncan Jones, who has just released a new film Source Code and is also the son of David Bowie. For a debut film it's quite brilliant and one of the better first attempts that I've seen. If Source Code is as good as the reviews are letting on then Jones could wind up as the premier Sci-fi director. Duncan Jones aside, Sam Rockwell is the real reason to see this film. The man does a great job especially considering this is technically a one man show. The only issue is the plot itself, we've all seen it before...not so spoiler alert it's a film about clones. Seriously I didn't spoil a thing, it was shown in the trailer. Still it's a quality production and one that is worth the time.

Review: That's right ladies and gents, this is the latest highly controversial shocker to make is way around the Art House circuit. Much like last year's Antichrist I can't actually recommend this film due to it's content. Trust me...don't watch this film...never watch this film. Unlike last year shocker, I am not ambivalent towards this film, I actually sort of liked it. Then again there is a lot in this film that I found terribly wrong, this film crosses a few lines that should never ever be crossed. It's a well made film though with an interesting satirical political message, of course the satire is done in the same vein of Johnathan Swift's A Modest Proposal, but still it's satire. It's also a completely messed up film that no one should see, I repeat DO NOT SEE THIS MOVIE. I'm reviewing it purely because the by this thread's rules stipulate that I have to review this one...seeing that I've seen it. I'm not giving it a score though so there.

Story: That's right boys and girls it's time to put on your proverbial tinfoil hats cus we're reviewing the X-Files movie.

Review: If you lived in the 90s then you know X-Files. The Fox series was one of those few televsion shows that managed to penetrate deep into pop culture. Even if you didn't watch the X-Files you still knew everything about it. I liked the X-Files, even if the quality of the show tended to be mediocre, it was still a fun show to watch.

The X-Files film is a rare breed of film. There aren't many tv shows out there that has the fan base to support a big budget blockbuster tie in film...which is essentially what this is, a tie in. It's an entertaining film that does nothing particularly special. The plot has Molder and Scully chasing down a large international conspiracy that has to do with aliens and viruses. It's standard X-Files fodder and thankfully not a "Monster of the Week" kind of story. If you were a fan of the show or were ever interested in the show then this is worth a watch.

After one year, 812 posts. Out of that 566 posts are actual reviews plus three that are reviews written by Pillar. So roughly 70% of my posts are actual content, which is a pretty decent ratio if you ask me.

Story: Bomb goes off on train. Jake Gyllenhaal is sent back in time over and over and over again to find out why.

Review: Like Jones' last film, Moon, Source Code is a smart Sci-Fi film that does well with a tried and true plot device. This film's plot device is pretty remenicent to one of my favorite Rom-Coms Groundhog Day. Meaning our character relives a tract of time for an umpteen number of times. It works well in this film and the plot manages to explain it well enough. Jake Gyllenhaal does a great job in his role and the supporting cast does a pretty good job too. All in all, this is easily the best Sci-Fi film to come out this year. Still there is an issue with the ending, it's the type of ending that depending on the viewer will make or break the film. I found it to be pretty well done, but you might see it differently.

Sexy, you should review City by the Sea. It's a film starring Robert De Niro, and James Franco.

It's a crime movie, and a good one at that.
 
You should see the movie inception, if you havn't yet ! But out from all the movie you've seen, I guess you have seen it:) If so, make a review of it ? :D
