Scrim in the Summer

I heard that we would scrim in the summer.
What kind, im guessing 6v6
How will we choose who gets to be in it.
If it is 6v6 will there only be 6 people from the entire clan ?
Will we scrim when we want to, or when people challenge us.

Well i believe what you are talking about is edgegamers Tf2 league season 2. We held one last summer and its basically 6vs6 with your own team of whoever you have teamed up with, it was only inside eGO scrims with tournament style brackets.

But i remember seeing it few months back that in the next season (that im not sure is it held on summer, someone else can confirm most likely) players from our servers that are not members can join too.

I'll leave it up to one of the ECs to answer when it will be happening, as I don't know if they've really decided 100% yet, or if they have if they want to release that information at the time. But I do believe it will be around this summer.

Anyway, the league is a competitive style 'mega event'. Teams of 6 go up against each other in a ladder until there is one team left. All members of eGO are allowed in I believe, and I think even some non-eGO members are being allowed to participate (although I cannot confirm that much). As far as I know you will play in assigned time slots, your team vs another, and as far as I know you make your own team.

Thats why I've been practicing scout/sniper recently, they are much more useful in Competitive Style Play than spies are.

The typical setup of one of these teams will likely be: 2 Scouts, 2 Soldiers, 1 Demoman, 1 Medic. So there is your idea of what to start practicing. And one of the scouts is sometimes substituted for a pyro or sniper, or even spy if/when necessary. Oh, and I believe there will be class limits, so the maximum scouts is 2, etc.

Most likely some of the same teams will return, but a whole slew of new teams will be there as-well I'm sure.

Once this gets announced, there will be a thread I'm sure talking about players looking for a team and what not.

Summer will be here soon, and this will be a success like last year.

Plans are indeed in place for Season 2 of eGO's TF2 League.
Whilst the format will be similar to last year there are one or two things that are being worked on and this will all be released close to the start of summer.

You can form / join a team of up for 8 (possibly 9) players and matches will be held on the standard 6 vs. 6 format. Whilst the usual team composition is 2 scouts, 2 soldiers, 1 medic and 1 demo. Each team can vary their setup through the match. Usual rules apply; max. 2 soldiers, 2 scouts and 1 medic (i think)

medic and demo will be limited to 1 per load out of 6 players, and teams will be expanded from 7-8 to up to 10 on a team to help fill time constriction holes

Teams can stay the same, but we're looking at more teams this time around hopefully, so when we finally find when we should announce more details, be sure to keep checking into the front page.

also (god I hate shameless plug-ins) Me and my good TF2 partner Nuke are going to be holding tryouts for our team when this is gets announced, so keep checking here for that info too... I know kev is going to kill me for doing that XD

As far as I know everything is 2, except medic and demo, but I am not 100% sure about that.

Last season the class limits were 2 of everything except medic initially, but I believed it changed halfway through. I don't know if there was talk of changing these limits for season 2. Hope that helps!
