I personally dislike the softcore servers. When I tried the softcore servers I would have to unload half my clip, if not the whole thing playing as a medic with the M429... :(

More hardcore please! :)
 
Agreed with pimp, it's annoying having to pump whole clip into someone and them still having half of their HP.

well hard core, is more of a challenge, cause its 2-5 bullets per person depending on where u hit them, and HS = 1 shot kill.

Soft Core, is 10-15 shots to kill someone, a tank round doesnt always kill u... rockets dont always kill u. and its just annoying u HS someone and they dont die.. thats why i dislike those servers. but thats my opinion, and why i suggested this poll.

agreed. Reminds me of my BF2 days. 2 clips per enemy...

I concur, more HC. Though I wouldn't mind if they kept Sniper rifles the same as Normal (Not all 1 shot kills unless it's a headshot). But the rest is fine.
 
I would say hardcore. Im going to get the game soon and would love to see hardcore placed on the servers!
 
I dont have BC2

BUT

I voted yes because, well, Hard core is always cool XD
 
Seems like HC is the way to go, but more difficult, but much more rewarding and makes you a better gamer. Also really good for snipers (at times)!
 
I dont really see how people keep saying they pump a clip in to a guy and they barely die/dont die. It only takes a couple bursts to kill a guy, not that hard. Also HC will have half Snipers who cant play on normal because they cant headshot people, so they go to HC and bodyshot kill people. Problem solved, now you are a better Sniper, play HC.

But HC is still rather fun, too bad I dont play on eGO other than on one of the euro ones sometimes.
 
I personally can't stand not having a radar. And 1 shot with anything is a death. For all the people saying it takes 2 clips to kill someone, well, I disagree. You get 1 shot with the FS 2000, two or three shot from the m60 like 200 meters away, and 1 shot with the gustav and 40mm in regular so it's just twice as bad imo. Leave it as it is.

I dont like normal because like others have said, putting a clip into someone is ridicules, especially when I'm trying to snipe. I want someone to drop with a shot or two, not 3 or 4.
 
I have never pumped a whole clip into 1 person to kill them. I HAVE however pumped a whole clip into or near someone only not to kill them because I was missing.

Whenever they give the HUD back in with HC only then will I enjoy it. Until then, soft core it is.
 
hardcore, like most said its kind of irratating when it takes half or even over half a clip to kill someone, specially with 50 cal sniper, i dont think someone can survive 2 shots from that thing regardless where it hits them, its just more realistic and more challenging
 
It DOES NOT take a "whole clip" to kill someone in "softcore". Maybe you guys should try actually hitting people and not just spray all over the place, jeez.

All hardcore is good for is unbalancing all the weapons. -.-;;
