Meteorite hits Madison WI

happened a few nights ago...i was inside the apartment and i noticed a green flash outside. looked on the news in the morning to see if they had anything on it and turned out to be a massive Fireball as they say.

it prolly didnt hit the groud, most meteorites burn itself to ashes when entering the atmosphere

Thats really cool! The closest thing I can think of is when we soaked a tennis ball in gasoline and launched out of a PVC pipe.

I read up on this and they can't find the meteor so it most likely burned up in the atmosphere.

yea im guessing that what happend but people said that it landed in wisconsin or something like that...nothing about it burning up

actually im sure it didn't completely burn up in the atmosphere, but it burned to such a smaller size that it didn't do damage/be found
