zomg a microscope?

So, on a whim I bought a super cool microscope! Magnification levels ranging between 40x and 1,600x with parts supplied, though I'm thinking about getting some new eyepieces to up it to a max of 2,500x.

It has a third view port so I can attach a special camera (still being shipped) so expect to see a couple threads starring pictures of my blood under the scope lol. DON'T STEAL MY DNA!!

Also have a centrifuge coming my way from an old friend who is a medical doctor, so soon my lab will be complete! hehe

I still have my microscope and slide collection that I received as a Christmas gift in 1976 or so It's still amazing to see what all goes on in the world right in front of us that we don't see with the naked eye.

I had a USB microscope when I was 10. it was made of plastic and did up to 16x. It was the worst Christmas present ever.

Next time someone comes over, have them swab the inside of their mouth with a q-tip and get a blood sample; when they ask why, tell them your testing for signs of early zombie syndrome

The one I use to have I got from school for free...it was super old but still worked fine till the mirror broke..Just ask if they have any they don't use I'd also check out Ollies if you have one close by or a goodwill store those places are like giant yard sales lol
