Yea when I camp I tend to get impatient and move, and of course then an enemy comes and kills me.

I will reiterate: Holding a tactical position with sniper over-watch while the maneuver element advances on the objective. Camping keeps the allies from coming behind at the allied second. Camping keeps the allies from coming in to the two-story. Camping keeps the allies from coming in to the axis second. Camping lets my teammates move up while I lock down an area of the map. "when you camp you don't help your team win"? I think not good sir.

Sorry Kirk, but for 99% of the campers, this is true. They are just sitting back, padding their stats. Having no campers has never made a team lose (I have won a LOT...so don't even start to argue this one lol), but having too many campers is frequently the cause for loss on flag cap maps.

I thought it was all about getting your HLX stats up.

A man who speaks the truth. lol

(But know that I believe when efficient campers like Kirk are out there, they are making a invaluable contribution to the team)

@ Dr.Compton, lol, basically, camping is just to wait at a certain part of a map until an enemy comes in and your ready to pop them

@YoSpankDawg, couldn't agree more, doesn't meaning there are campers, means the team can't win, unless if 90% of them are camping.

@ CopperAle, Doesn't have to get you HLX stats up, can be teamwork too, but for me, i just love to sit back and wait for them to come. That's why i collected loads of hlx stats. but in a slow rate though. And sometime, if i'm bored, i'll just do a patrol at areas where its been captured by us. And i quote, "NEVER would you see me in the frontlines" hehehe

haha, love it or hate it.. call it what you will, "camping" is a strategy in day of defeat. suppose defense might be called somethin else in other games, lol. keep doin what u are doin Valentine, your team mates will appreciate your line of defense

Everyone is gonna play how they would like, as long as they have fun it's all good. I learned a long time ago that camping was part of DoD. I usually just hope that the campers are on the other team and not mine .
