looks to me like your ordinary Brown Watersnake...i used to see em a lot when i lived next to a swamp, the head is all triangular which most of the time says its poisonous. But this kind of snake im guessing is not. I could be wrong because the brown watersnake and the Cottonmouth look almost exactly the same. If you really wanna find out bash its head in if theres white cotton looking stuff in its head then its a cottonmouth if not prolley watersnake

Well the mouth was not white at all
it was all pink....
I think it is a moccasin cause it was in my pool skimmer
and the thing was snapping at me like it wanted to kill me lol.

I am going to find out what this was. Also thankyou for that link fluffy

Maybe it is a banded water Snake

this snake scared me tho
I was like wow!
What should i do.
I walked away at first and then got a sign that my dad had to try and block the strikes and it worked and then i was like i look like a idea making this snake madder so i went and got a shovel and scooped it up and threw it over the fence.
