Hey all. I already have a lot of anime that has been recommended, or that I have on my "to watch" list, but as I have limited time, I was hoping for some suggestions on what to start up next.

Here are some lists of what I've seen, and what's been recommended.

lists went here

Overall I prefer anime that has a (semi) concise story to tell. It should be able to get it's point across in around 50-60 episodes, or less. That said, I'm pretty open towards any kind of genre. I especially love Political Dramas or Psychological Trillers (al a Death Note, Code Geass), but I'll give any anime a shot, given it has a good story to tell (not just moe-blob).

So given the above, any ideas on where to start? Does anyone have any further recommendations given the above lists?

Thanks. :)

D. Gray-man and FMA: Brotherhood are definitely ones to watch/read. But my advice: don't watch D. Gray-man in English. Watch it in Japanese with subtitles or read it.

Try Higurashi if you want psychological thriller

Try also Mnemosyne if you don't mind gore

Also Gungrave and Phantom: Requiem of Phantom

Political...hmmm

Full Metal Panic....ugh its too hard for me to know a lot of political x.x

Death note is the only thing that i could think of when it comes to political

Speaking of Death Note

Waiting for english dubs sets you back about a year and a half because they have to get the english Voice actors to do them, etc. Theres been a good amount of episodes of Bleach since then so have fun waiting.

Or you could be cool and watch English subs. Though, the Bleach english dub is really good

Because of the start of the real fight in bleach, i reread through the chapters containing it... ARGH I CANT WAIT to see it in animation!!!
