Ah, yeah. That's kind of how things work in that world =/ I like it, though. Strays from the "main characters are uber and invincible. Nothing bad will happen."

Saved a guy? Now he's braindead.
Meet a very powerful, nice guy? Now he's used to deliver an enemy's message.
Succeeded in a mission? Your super eye got stabbed and is unusable for a long time.

At least it's not

Succeeded in a mission? Obviously, nothing could have gone wrong.
Saved a guy? Everything went perfectly well.
Meet a very powerful, nice guy? Now he's totally unimportant, but awesome.

Which kind of gives characters overpoweredness.

So I finished watching GunSword....and it's terrible lol.
Started watching Blood+ and erm.....after 4 epis it hasn't hooked me yet. I'll give it another 4.
 
Hmm, so I checked the onemanga website like right now and there like its the last week before there website is gonna shut down. Well, mainly the companies that produces and sells manga (Japan but I guess U.S. too). Kind of sad really, 'cause it might affect the manga scanlations out there. But in my opinion, its the wrong move they'll ever take.
 
My Manga Site put up it's one weeks notice (one manga); I have a back up though, but dang.

But this is only going to slow scanlations, new sites will pop up and popular manga will get to us. It is the unknown and less popular manga that's going to be lost imo.

There's one problem, the known scanlation groups will likely get sued if they are not doing what the companies said. The good thing is that unknown or small scanlation groups will likely take over. And the less popular mangas? I don't think its gonna stop the scanlation unless the companies dropped it.
 
Theres aways mangastream, if I can get y manga fix ima fly to jap and unleash godzilla

Not exactly anime per-se, but it's still Japanese and subtitled to English.
There is going to be 3 installments in this series, so far, only one is Up and subbed
 
Claymore, its short (only 26 episodes) but it is a very good anime, watch it if u have the time.
 
Summer season has been so lackluster. The only thing worth watching has been Highschool of the Dead and maybe some other show, but even then it's just zombies and fan-service for the braindead (lolpun) audience.

I've just been waiting for the Haruhi and Eden of the East II movie to come out already. In the meanwhile, I've taken the time to watch older series like Ghost in the Shell and rewatching Baccano!.

I just watched the original Ghost in the Shell movie a few days ago.

I did as well, old style anime is bleh D:
but last night I watched Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex - Individual Eleven. 10/10 so good.
oh and long titles ftw :D
 
So I tried to watch Kaichu! OVA knowing that its a trap but was hoping that it will be like Baka to Test to Summons trap Hideyoshi ('cause the show is funny with a trap but the main char didn't fell for the trap, not completely). And after watching Kaichu! OVA, this was the only thing I have to say:

THAT CROSS-DRESSING DUDE HAS TO BE GIRL 'CAUSE NO MATTER HOW YOU LOOK AT ITS TOO CUTE TO BE DUDE BUT IT CANNOT BE DENIED THAT ITS A DUDE! <- and I died a little inside.
