Anime Official Anime/Manga Thread

[Vertago]

I love HOTD, I think it may be more HC then the manga but we'll see. o.o

Nah, they will just censor everything and then uncensor it on the DVDs/BDs:facewall:

[TransparenT]

Hmm... Indeed.

Hmm... Indeed.

Though if you arent, you should still watch it, because it still awesome. They are mostly just following the manga atm but its still awesome to see it animated

Enjoy that 'fan service'?

Not really. I find that those kinds of things REALLY take away from the story, so I just skip them.

Ya know the series is based on fanservice

[SScagnetti]

I may have to give it a watch then..

I meant serious 'fanserviced' stuff, like the bath scene where they got drunk. I laughed when they were at the mall and the gun otaku (I don't remember names well) pulled the guns out of the huge bra bin (I lol'd at the titanic boob comment afterward too)

I saw plenty of awesome zomb- I mean "them" slaughtering.

The Highschool of the Dead anime is really living up to the manga in all regards. I especially liked their tip of the hat to 28 days later in episode one, using the same theme song "In the house in a heartbeat."

there are a lot of references to classic zombie movies, i've just now noticed that
D:

[Mystery Penguin]

The chapter/episode names also play off other movie names, I've seen "The Good, the Bad, and the DEAD" and "Dances with the Dead"

There was a data book released for the Bleach series earlier this week. Its pretty much a book that comes with fictional stats for all of the characters for kids to look over and enjoy. But what makes this one special, is that it came with a foldout of the entire roster of the Gotei 13, back when the Vizards were still captains

Here is the image. Its huge

3rd panel from my left: 7th Lieutenant Shin'emon Kotsubaki
5th panel from my left: 3rd Lieutenant Chikane Iba

Bottom row
2nd panel from my left: The Kenpachi before The Kenpachi in the current series. (Kenpachi is a title, not a name)
4th panel from my left: Byakuya's father (OMGWTF HES SMILING)
5th panel from my left: Hanataro's relative
6th panel from my left: The current 2nd division's father

[Byakuya]

Byakuya smiling?

o.o

link to this stat book?
