Just finished Angel Beats at the recommendation of both spidEY and Sephiroth. I cried, but not as much as After Story. A very good series and a whole hearted recommendation to anyone who has not watched it yet. It's only 13 episodes, so watched start to finish watching opening and closings on every episode it's a little more than 5 hours. Take a day off and watch it. You won't be disappointed.

The problem is, I can't really handle overly sad/emotional stories. I can do things like Evangelion, but beyond that I get too worked up and stop watching, and move onto something with a happy ending.

I will admit, it's a sad ending, but it's a happy sad.

A friend pushed me into watched clannad and after story. Anyone who has seen it knows the roller coaster of emotions in that series. I cried my eyes out for 15 minutes(which doesn't happen often). I sort of told myself I'm not watching another sad series again. But this. It's a happy sad ending. All the characters are happy and all the loose ends are tied up nicely. It's a sad that you get from being reunited with someone you haven't seen in a LONG time.

I just finished Asura Cryin' 1 and Asura Cryin' 2. I would recommend it to you guys. Now im gonna re-watching gurren lagann.

Ten in no particular order:

1: Anything by Masamune Shiro (Dominion Tank Police, Ghost in the Shell, Orion)
2: Record of Lodoss War
3: Grave of the Fireflies
4: Anything by Clamp (But especially xxxHolic and Magic Knights Rayearth)
5: Anything by Leiji Matsumoto (Harlock, Galaxy Express 999, Space Battleship Yamato)
6: Rozen Maiden
7: Princess Tutu (Seriously, watch this, one of the best anime series in ages. Stay clear of the manga though, it sucks.).
8: Gunslinger Girl
9: Perfect Blue (Closest thing to an anime Alfred Hitchcock movie.).
10: Dirty Pair (Especially Dirty Pair Flash)

Has anybody been watching GJ-Bu Chuutu-Bu the past couple months? I'd say its pretty good.

I've also been watching G Gundam like my brother watched years ago, Gurren Lagann at the recommendation of a friend, and K-On!!, which I'd say is a god damn masterpiece :D

Oh and also, I finished FMA Brotherhood after getting it on DVD last week. 5/5

I watched Carnival Phantasm...first 3 episodes I felt that I would have achieved the same effect by hitting myself in the head with a brick a few times(best way to describe it cannot be said on the forums or outside of a rated R channel on vent). It describes itself quite well at one point too:

On the bright side, I did get plenty of Saber images to add to my collection.

Just started watching Beelzebub last night, looked kind of weird so I put off watching it till now but good thing I started. It's hilarious, had me up till 6am laughing my head off.

There needs to be more Yandere Anime!!! I feel like it is never shown in a good light. The wonders of yandere can be shared with you all!

Someone made the recommendation of Vividred Operation since I made the comment I enjoyed Strike Witches.
Kind of wish I had known it was a mahou shoujo...I LOVE MAHOU SHOUJO.
