Saw this ad on eGO site actually...it looks very interesting. Although, I'm wary of subscription-based games. I'd love to hear from anyone who knows about this one.

Thanks!

I didn't like the game at all. And the majority of the game is largely based in crafting. There is more to the game, but due to the majority of players playing solely for the crafting in the game, that is where the development is going with this.

I would recommend listening to the Massively.com podcast, I believe the one about 2-3 weeks ago had a good 30 minutes of talking about this game and they mention it at least for a few minutes in every episode. They also have a whole portion of their website dedicated to this game. Give it a look and you'll learn tons.

Cool - thanks for the info!;)

The game itself is like nothing else on the market. The steep initial learning curve will filter out all but a certain type of player. Those who give the game a chance and can handle being completely in control of their character's destiny will find a deeply nuanced and rewarding play experience that is unique among its competitors.

I played it back in beta, wasn't very impressed but acefisher1 pretty much summed up the whole game, even the end game.

Everyone always say some games are really hard to learn, but why? How is playing Fallen Earth hard to figure out? Why does EVE Online seem so hard to other people? I will never know the answers...

But, On Topic...

I liked Fallen Earth, though I only played the trial and didn't really get far. Almost reminded me of Hellgate: London...I miss that game:crying:
