A sad new for zombies

Mates, im not good today cos i just read about Zombie Master mod death.

here is the text:

Welcome to the Zombie Master website. The final release of the mod was version 1.2.1, released on January the 4th, 2009. Since then it is no longer in development, and the website is no longer actively maintained.

You can still get the mod from the Files page and read the rest of the site's content. The forums are also still available and active.

The source code of the mod was released under an open-source license. You can download it and find more information in the appropriate forum section.

at least the source code is open... but im still very sad
for me is the best zombie game ever, better then l4d (1 or 2) and Zombie Panic Source.

So... just that.

I've never really been able to get into anything involving zombies, games, movies, anything.

It takes a lot of time and effort to make a successful mod for any game, and even more to keep maintaining one when you're not being financially compensated for it. I've seen quite a few great mods fall by the wayside when they could've been so much more =/

community maintain open source apps
release the source just when u die is not good for your projects if you want something that is not money.

Yea, I just downloaded it and there is no connection to master servers. Indeed sad, looks like it would've been fun.
